SMS Terms of Service
Last updated: May 8, 2026
Program Description
Medina & Medina Law Firm PLLC operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with prospective clients, current clients, and others who have provided their mobile number to the firm. These are person-to-person, case-related messages — not marketing.
Message Types
When you provide your mobile number to the firm, you may receive text messages including:
- Intake follow up after you first contact us
- Case status updates while we represent you
- Hearing, deposition, and appointment reminders
- Scheduling and confirmation of meetings
- Direct replies to questions you send our office
We do not send promotional or advertising text messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your case activity. You may receive zero to several messages per week. Active matters with hearings or deadlines tend to generate more messages than inactive ones.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply per your wireless plan. The firm does not charge you for text messages.
Consent and Opt In
By providing your mobile number to Medina & Medina — verbally over the phone, on a signed intake form, on a website contact form, or by sending us a text message first — you consent to receive non-marketing SMS messages from the firm at that number for the purposes described above.
Opt Out
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from the firm. After you reply STOP you will receive a one-time confirmation and will not receive further automated messages, except in direct reply to a text message you initiate to our office. To re-subscribe, reply START.
Help
Reply HELP to any message for help, or contact our office at (512) 500-2810 or Israel@winner.law.
Carrier Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network availability.
Privacy
Your mobile information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
